Veterans MTB & BMX Come'N'Try Day

supported by Veteran Sport Australia (VSA)

Mountain Bike Australia (MTBA) & BMX Australia (BMXA) invite veterans and their families to try mountain bike & BMX riding in a fun and safe environment with the support of local clubs. Start the day with a BMX session at  Satellite City BMX Club, before heading over to Darwin Off-Road Cyclists for some mountain biking fun. 

You can register for BMX or MTB or both. Please indicate in your registration whether you need to borrow BMX equipment, at no extra charge. There is NO equipment available for mountain biking so you will need to bring your own bike and helmet.

MTBA & BMXA will provide free insurance to registered participants.

What do I need to bring?

  • Bike in good working order
  • Full-faced helmet
  • Long pants & long sleeved shirt
  • Flat and enclosed shoes
  • Bottle of water/snack
  • Bring gloves if you have some
There is a limited amount of equipment available and you MUST register.

  • Shorts & t-shirt (NO dresses or skirts)
  • Flat and enclosed shoes
  • Bottle of water/snack
  • Bring gloves/eye protection if you have some
  • Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, long sleeved shirt, etc.)
